How affiliate links are marked
Wherever an affiliate link appears, it says so next to the link, and the page carries a short disclosure at the top. The links are also labelled as sponsored for search engines. Affiliate links never appear on the safety, reporting or legal pages, or in the emails we send you about your account.
What it does not change
- Sellers. No shop pays for, or has any say in, the seller directory, the feed or the leaderboard.
- Advice. Our guides describe what to look for first; a shop is linked where it fits that advice, not the other way round.
- Your data. We share nothing about you with these shops. The link tells the shop which of our pages the click came from, never who clicked.
What happens when you click
An affiliate link goes through the shop’s affiliate network first (for the shops above, Awin), which records the click on its own website so the shop can credit us, then sends you on to the shop. We set no cookie for this on Allison Feet; what Awin and the shop do on their own sites is covered by their privacy policies.
