Stopped at the ID check? What it protects you from, and what happens to your ID

Many buyers create an account and stop at the ID check. If that is you, this is what the check protects you from when you are the one sending the money, what happens to your document, who can see what, and how to finish it in about two minutes.

Many buyers get exactly this far: an account created, a seller worth messaging, and then a screen asking for a government ID and a short selfie. A lot of them stop there. We can see it happen, and we understand it. Showing an identity document to a feet pic site is not a small thing to ask.

This post is for you if that is where you stopped. It covers what the check protects you from as a buyer, what happens to your ID, and the things you are probably worried about, answered plainly. Then you can decide.

You are the one sending the money

Buyers pay sellers directly here. We never hold the money, which is why sellers keep all of it, and it is also why we cannot reverse a payment once it has left your account. In every sale, you are the one who pays first.

That is the reason we take security as seriously as we do. Every scam aimed at buyers depends on a seller who can disappear, and the identity check is what takes that away.

The scamWhat it needsWhy it is hard here
Stolen photosA profile nobody can traceA seller appears nowhere public until a genuine ID and a matching face have been checked
Pay and get blockedAn account that costs nothing to loseA removed seller's email address and identity document are blocked, so a new account meets the same wall
One person, many profilesNo link between the accountsThe check looks for a face or a device that already belongs to another account here
Blackmail after the saleA sender who cannot be tracedThe person threatening you has already proven who they are

Every seller you can see passed that check before their profile went public. It is the reason a report here leads to a real person rather than to an abandoned username.

Why you, too

Sellers have the same problem in reverse. They deal with strangers every day, and the ones who cause trouble, from harassment to threats to reversed payments, rely on the same disposable account that a scam seller does.

Your check is what makes a seller willing to answer a stranger at all. It is also the only honest way to run an adult platform: a site that does not check the age of the people buying is not checking age. The full reasoning is in why everyone here shows ID, buyers included.

What happens to your ID

Your document and your selfie go to our verification partner, a specialist identity provider. They do not come to us. What comes back is a decision.

  • We never receive your document images or your face scan, so we cannot store them, leak them or show them to anyone.
  • We do not store your legal name, date of birth or document number.
  • Our partner deletes the images and the face scan after a set retention period, and at the latest when you delete your account. They are used only for the check and are never sold.
  • What we do keep is whether you passed, when, the reason if you did not, and a few signals used to spot fake accounts: the country of the document, the country of the connection, whether a VPN was in use, and whether your face or device matched another account here.

The notice you see before the check says the same thing in legal language, with phrases such as "biometric data" and "face geometry". The law requires those words, and it requires you to agree to them on their own screen rather than inside a wall of terms. Nothing is sent anywhere until you tick that box.

The things buyers worry about

The worryWhat actually happens
A seller will see my real nameNever. The people you message see your display name and profile picture, not your legal name or your email address
My profile will be publicBuyer profiles are not public. Only verified sellers can see them
It will cost me somethingThe check is free. There is no card to enter and nothing is charged
It will take agesAbout two minutes with your ID ready. The result usually arrives within a few minutes
Once I verify, I have to payNo. Verification and membership are separate, and nothing here renews on its own
I use a VPNOn its own, that never counts against you. If the document and the connection point to different countries, a person may review the check first, within two business days
It gets declinedYou are told the reason and can try again. A person reviews a declined result if you ask
I change my mind laterDelete your account and the verification record goes with it. We keep only the fact, date and outcome of the decision, for five years

Here is the honest part

  • It is a real ask. Some people will never show ID to an adult site, and that is a reasonable position. In most countries browsing stays free without it: the seller directory, every gallery and the live feed. A few countries require the check by law before any member content is shown.
  • The check is not the only step. To message a seller, a buyer also needs a membership. While the launch giveaway runs, buyers can claim a free month, so you can verify and try everything before paying for anything.
  • It proves identity and age, not character. A verified seller is a real adult, which is not the same as an honest one. Agree the details before you pay, start small with someone new, and read the staying safe guide.
  • We cannot recover money. The check makes scams rare and reports effective. It does not turn a payment into something we can undo.

If you want to finish it

  1. Sign in and open Profile → Verification.
  2. Read the notice and tick the box.
  3. Photograph your ID and take the short selfie on our partner's page. Good light and a phone camera make this quick.
  4. You come straight back here, and the result usually follows within minutes.

If you stopped halfway last time, nothing is broken. You can start again from the same page. The verification guide covers the steps in more detail, and if something goes wrong, email info@allisonfeet.com and a person will answer.

Once you are through, how to message a seller and actually get a reply covers the first conversation.

The seller you want to message has already done this. The check is how you know that.
